Climate Change in Kenya

As a result of climate change, many regions that already suffer from high rates of hunger and food insecurity are predicted to experience the greatest declines in food production. In drought stricken regions like Kenya (pictures), many cattle farmers have already lost their animals, their livelihoods, and their sources of food and income. Food prices in the area, meanwhile have skyrocketed.
