California Coalition for Women Prisoners

The California Coalition for Women Prisoners (CCWP) "challenges the institutional violence imposed on women, transgender people, and communities of color by the prison industrial complex (PIC)." They have many resources to help minorities in prison like their newsletter "The Fire Inside" and several projects including "Free Battered Women", "Companeras", prison visits, political education and organizing, and prisoner letters which provide useful information to prisoners.
